You can also lightly run your hands through the layers to restore its natural volume and bounce. In most cases, the shape comes back immediately. If you'd like extra lift, you can also hang the wig for a few hours or lightly steam it (on a low setting) to refresh the style — but usually, a good shake and fluff are all it takes.
